The organisation has changed its name and objectives

In the light of increasing demands from other Asian and local residents; a name which allows us to support other communities meeting their needs.

We decided to change the name of our organisation to bring other people together to make decisions, learn from each other and share our experiences. We are delighted with the establishment of the new name and new objectives, so that people of Afghanistan, Asian and local residents can work together and share mutual understanding.

The Afghanistan & Central Asian Association hopes our support will empower new arrival and refugees to have access in employment, business, social, cultural and educational opportunities available here in UK.

The Afghanistan & Central Asian Association which was known as “Afghan Community Organisation of London” made a great contribution in bringing different community together but due to high demand from BME we decided to change the objectives and expanded it’s service to integrate more people and communities from the multi-cultural society of Great Britain.

The encouragement, support and feedback of the people and positive reaction from the community make us more active and determined to widen the help we offer to our participants and we feel the new name of the organisation reflects this.

The new name and objectives will also create confidence among others to feel free join our Management Committee, attend our events and take active part in our activities.
